5 Check that the flaring is properly made.

a Flare’s inner surface MUST be flawless.
b The pipe end MUST be evenly flared in a perfect circle.
c Make sure the flare nut is fitted.
6.4.6 To connect the refrigerant piping to the indoor unit
▪ Pipe length . Keep refrigerant piping as short as possible.
▪ Flare connections . Connect refrigerant piping to the unit using flare connections.
▪ Insulation . Insulate the refrigerant piping, interconnection cable and drain hose
on the indoor unit as follows:

NOTICE
Make sure to insulate all refrigerant piping. Any exposed piping might cause
condensation.

Connecting the electrical wiring typically consists of the following stages:
1 Making sure the power supply system complies with the electrical
specifications of the units.
2 Connecting the electrical wiring to the outdoor unit.
3 Connecting the electrical wiring to the indoor unit.
4 Connecting the main power supply.
