COANDA Operation
The flow of air will be in the upward direction which will provide a comfortable air that will not
come in direct contact with people.

To start COANDA operation

• The flap position will change, preventing air from blowing directly on the occupants of the room.
• "i,i'" is displayed on the LCD. The flap will go up and down.

• The flap will return to the memory position from COAN DA mode.
• " i,i' " disappears from the LCD.
POWERFUL Operation
POWERFUL
operation quickly maximises the cooling (heating) effect in any operation mode.
You can get the maximum capacity.
■ To start POWERFUL operation

• POWERFUL operationends in 20 minutes. Then the system automatically operates
again with the previous settings which were used before POWERFUL operation.

Notes on COANDA operation
• The flap position will change, preventing air from blowing directly on the occupants of the room.
• If the upper and lower airflow direction is selected, the COANDA operation will be canceled.
• The airflow rate can be set to any level. However, a low airflow rate may cause cold air to go
down and blow on people.
□ Notes on POWERFUL operation
• When using POWERFUL operation, there are some functions which are not available.
• POWERFUL operation can only be set when the unit is running.
• POWERFUL operation will not increase the capacity of the air conditioner if the air conditioner is
already in operation with its maximum capacity demonstrated.
• In COOL, HEAT and AUTO operation
To maximise the cooling (heating) effect, the capacity of outdoor unit is increased and the airflow
rate becomes fixed at the maximum setting. The temperature and airflow settings are not variable.
• In DRY operation
The temperature setting is lowered by 2.5
°
C and the airflow rate is slightly increased.
• In FAN operation
The airflow rate is fixed to the maximum setting.
