To start intelligent eye operation
Press .
• appears on the LCD.
• The INTELLIGENT EYE lamp lights green.
• By selecting “ ”

• disappears from the LCD. “ ”
the air conditioner will be in INTELLIGENT EYE operation.
• The lamp will be lit while human mo v ements are detected.

To cancel operation
Press again.
• The INTELLIGENT EYE lamp goes off.

• While the air conditioner is in INTELLIGENT EYE ope r ation, the lou vres will adjust the airflow direction if there are people in the sensing
area of the INTELLIGENT EYE so that the leftw ard or r ightw ard airflow will not be directed to the peopl e .
If no people are detected in sensing area within 20 minute s , the air conditioner will go into energy-s a ving mode with the set tempe r ature
shifted b y 2°C.
The air conditioner m ay go into energy-s a ving ope r ation ev en if there are people in the area.
This m ay occur depending on the clothes the people are w ear ing if there are no mo v ements of the people in the area.
• Due to the position of the senso r , people might be e xposed to the airflow of the indoor unit if th ey are close to the front side of the indoor unit.
• Sensor m ay not detect moving objects fu r ther than 7m a w ay . (Chec k the application r ang e .)
• Sensor detection sensitivity changes according to indoor unit location, the speed of passers b y , tempe r ature r ang e , etc.
• The sensor also mista k enly detects pet s , sunlight, fluttering cu r tains and light reflected off of mirrors as passers b y .
• INTELLIGENT EYE ope r ation will not go on du r ing PO WERFUL ope r ation.

CAUTION
• Do not place large objects near the senso r .
Also keep heating units or humidifiers outside the sensor ’s detection area. This sensor can detect undesi ra ble object s .
• Do not hit or violently push the INTELLIGENT EYE senso r . This can lead to damage and malfunction.
