INFORMATION
The flow sensor connector MUST be plugged into X4A on
hydro PCB.

7 Measure the voltage on connector X4A: pins 3–4 (= flow sensor
power supply) of the water flow sensor.
If measured voltage… Then
Is +5 V DC Skip the next step in the
procedure
Is NOT +5 V DC Continue with the next step in the
procedure
8 Unplug the connector and measure the voltage on hydro PCB.
If measured voltage… Then
Is +5 V DC Replace the water flow sensor,
see
"2.25.2 Repair
procedures" on page 88 .
Is NOT +5 V DC Replace the hydro PCB, see
"2.14.2 Repair procedures" on
page 60
.
9 Measure the voltage on X4A: pins 2–3 (= flow sensor output
signal).
10 Check that the measured voltage is in line with the expected
voltage through the read water flow.
The measured voltage is
outside the expected range? Action
Yes Replace the water flow sensor,
see
"2.25.2 Repair
procedures" on page 88
No Water flow sensor is OK. Return
to the troubleshooting of the
specific error and continue with
the next procedure.
2.25.2 Repair procedures
To remove the water flow sensor
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "2.19 Plate
work" on page 77 .
1 Drain water from the water circuit, see "3.3.2 Repair
procedures" on page 96 .
2 Loosen the water flow sensor connector nut.
