2.24 User interface
2.24.1 Checking procedures
To check the power supply to the user interface
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "2.19 Plate
work" on page 77 .
1 Turn ON the power to the unit.
2 Disconnect the user interface connector from the hydro PCB.
3 Measure the voltage on the user interface connector on the
hydro PCB. The measured voltage MUST be 16 V DC.
Does the user interface receive
power? Action
Yes Return to the troubleshooting of
the specific error and continue
with the next procedure.
No Perform a check of the hydro
PCB, see
"2.14.1 Checking
procedures" on page 58 .
To check the correct functioning of the user
interface
1 Check that information is shown and can be navigated through
on the display of the user interface.
2 Check the display for cracks.
Does the user interface
function correctly? Action
Yes Return to the troubleshooting of
the specific error and continue
with the next procedure.
No Replace the user interface, see
"2.24.2 Repair procedures" on
page 87

1 Compare the software ID and EEPROM version of the user
interface and the PCB with the ones provided in the Updater
Tool. Re-install the software with the Updater Tool if versions do
NOT match.

2.25 Water flow sensor
2.25.1 Checking procedures
To perform an electrical check of the water flow
sensor
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "2.19 Plate
work" on page 77 .
1 Turn ON the power of the unit.
2 Activate Installer on the user interface. See the installer
reference guide for the correct procedure.
3 Go to Actuator test run via the user interface.
4 Activate the Pump.
5 Select Flow rate.
Result: The displayed flow rate MUST be 5~40 l/min.
6 Using the graphic below, determine the expected sensor output
voltage based on the displayed flow rate.
