Prerequisite: Open all the hot water tapping points to allow air to enter the
system.
Prerequisite: Remove the top panel. See "7.2.2 To open the indoor unit" [ 4 61].
1 Remove the stop from the access point to the tank.
2 Use a drain hose and a pump to drain the tank via the access point.
14.4 To remove and install the valve actuator of the central water loop
NOTICE
Before removing the pressure independent control valve (PICV) with actuator,
ALWAYS perform an actuator test run (see
"12.4.4 To perform an actuator test
run" [

212]). This will ensure that the valve pressure plate is fully retracted. If not, it
may damage the actuator.
To remove the actuator
1 Perform an actuator test run: in the main menu screen, go to
Commissioning > Actuator test run and select Water loop valve .
2 Wait 2 minutes. The valve opens fully.
3 Power OFF the unit.
4 Disconnect the actuator.
5 Remove the actuator from the valve.

6 Unscrew the valve adapter from the valve.
