7.2.3 To remove the transportation stay

NOTICE

If the unit is operated with the transportation stay attached, abnormal vibration or
noise may be generated.

The transportation stay protects the unit during transport. During installation it
must be removed.

Open the switch box cover. See

"7.2.2 To open the outdoor unit"

Remove the screws (5×) from the transportation stay. Remove the
transportation stay and dispose of it. Keep 4 screws to attach the compressor
cover piece (see the installation manual, topic “To attach the compressor
cover piece”).
