Wiring
When there is a short distance between the outdoor unit and water heater and the

thermistor extension cable is too long
Remove the water heater thermistor connected to the S402 connector on the

Before inserting the

water heater thermistor extension cable into the S402
connector, cut the end for connection to the outdoor unit to a suitable length.
If the cable is joined uncut to the S402 connector with the excess tied up, noise

may be generated, resulting in system malfunctions.

and secure it to the wiring clamp attached to the outdoor unit. There should be no
external tension applied to the cable after attachment.
At this time, ensure the clamp is correctly oriented as shown in the diagram.
