9.2 Gas flow control
CAUTION
Do not put your hands, fingers, hair and cloths near the rotating parts of the fan motor.
When opening the main valve of the gas cylinder, do not put your face near the outlet port.
High-pressure gas may blow out, causing physical injuries.
Turn the power
switch to ON.
Turn the line disconnect
switch for 3-phase

230V to ON.
Set gas switch in
"GAS CHECK"
position.
After adjusting
gas flow, set gas
switch in
"WELD" position.
Adjust the gas
flow by turning
knob to "OPEN".

9.3 Inching operation
CAUTION
Do not look into the tip to check on feeding of the wire while inching.
Wire may fly out and stick your face and eyes, causing hazard.
Do not put the welding torch tip near your face, eyes or body, due to
possible injury.
Do not put your hands, fingers, hair or clothes near the rotating parts (for
example , the feed roll of wire feeder) during inching.
Biting may occur and it may cause injury.
Extend the welding torch straight, and feed wire by pushing the inching switch. And release it when
wire comes out about 1/2 in.(10mm) from the end of the tip.
