Step 3
Take out the installation position map form the accessories bag; paste it on the installation
surface such as ceiling or wall according to the monitoring area.
Step 4
Draw and then dig three plastic expansion bolts holes on ceiling or other installation surface and
then insert three expansion bolts in the holes. Secure these three bolts firmly.
Note:
Please dig a “cable exit hole” on the surface according to the installation position map if you
want to pull out the cable from the top of the installation surface when installing cable.
You need to use the proper tool to open up the side port of the U-cable channel on the dome
enclosure if you want to pull out the cable from the side exit of the cable channel when you
are installing the device cable. And then you can pull out the cable from the side exit of cable
channel on the pedestal.
Step 5
Adjust the device installation pedestal to the proper position and then draw the cable through the
cable outlet you just dug on the installation surface. Align the
“TOP” direction of the device with
the installation position map and then align the three screw fixing holes on the device pedestal
with the three plastic expansion bolt fixing holes on the installation surface. Put the three self-
tapping screws into the three plastic expansion bolts and secure them firmly, and then fix the
dome on the installation surface.
Step 6
Adjust device monitoring direction
Users can directly use hands to adjust the lens horizontally, it needs to use wrench to adjust lens
vertically, insert the wrench into the screw holes and move the wrench up and down to rotate the
lens vertically; it needs to use wrench to adjust image horizontally, insert the wrench into the
screw hole and move then wrench with 360
°
axis to make the image rotate.
