Select SETUP > SYSTEM > PTZ . Step 1
The PTZ interface is displayed.
Select a channel. Step 2
In the PTZ Type list, select PTZ type, and then configure other parameters. Step 3
 If Channel 1 to Channel 8 is selected, the PTZ type is Local by default which
cannot be modified. See Figure 5-28. Configure the parameters. For details, see
Table 5-9.

Parameter Description
Channel Select a channel that is connected to PTZ camera.
Protocol Select the protocol that matches the PTZ camera.
Address
Enter the address for PTZ camera.
The entered address must be the same with the address configured on
the PTZ camera; otherwise the PTZ camera cannot be controlled from
the Device.
Baud Rate Select the baud rate for the PTZ camera.
Data Bit The default value is 8.
Stop Bit The default value is 1.
Parity The default value is None.

If Channel 9 to Channel 12 is selected, in the PTZ Type list, select Remote . See
Figure 5-29.

Click Save . Step 4
Click Copy to copy the settings to other channels.
