Adding shared user
Select/Enter the parameters. For details, see Table 3-8.
Description of adding user parameters
Parameter
Description
User Name
Enter the name of the shared account.
Server
Type
Select the corresponding service type of the shared account: iSCSI, FTP/SAMBA or
iSCSI/FTP/SAMBA.
Password
Enter and confirm the password of the shared account.
When you select iSCSI or iSCSI/FTP/SAMBA for the server type, the password
shall consist of 12 characters.

Password
Memo
Enter memo to help recognize and manage the account.
Click
OK
to save the configuration.
The system returns to the
Shared Account
interface. You can view the new account
information here.

You can access the shared folder on other devices through the shared account.
