Dial Switch Setup
Open the enclosure of the speed dome, you can see there are two dial switches on the PCB,
which are used to set the parameters of the speed dome, such as address, high definition and
standard definition video output switch and etc.
Note:
When it is the HDCVI high definition video output mode for the speed dome, then it doesn
’t have
to implement dial and other relevant RS485 settings.
2.4.1 Initial Setup
Address code: 1
Baud Rate: 9600
Parity: None
2.4.2 Dial Setup for Intelligent Speed Dome
Before you control the speed dome, first you have to set the address code and high definition
standard definition video output mode; the speed dome will respond to its control command after
completing these settings.
There are two dial switches on the PCB, which is shown in Figure 2-3. The 1~7 of the address
dial switch are valid. You can set address and high definition standard definition video output
switch and etc according to the method below. After resetting relevant info, it has to enter OSD
system to reboot first and then the new settings will take effect.
