9. Register / De-register a Handset
9.1 Register to a DECT base
You can register 5 handsets to one base unit. By default, a handset is
registered as handset 1 on a base unit upon delivery (base unit 1). You
only need to register a handset if:

The handset registration has been removed from the base unit.
(e.g. for re-initialization)
§
If you want to subscribe a different handset to this base unit.
1. Press key. Use or keys to scroll to
‘
REGISTER
’
and press key.
2. Use scroll key to select the number of the base unit you would like
to register the handset to (1-4). The unit ask for the PIN code (4
digits, default one is 0000), then the display will show
‘
PRESS
BASE
’, now you need to disconnet the power plug of from the
base station and reconnect it. After this the base station will be in
registration mode for three minutes.
3. When the handset is registered, it will show
‘
HS
’ followed by the
handset number.
9.2 Removing a handset
1. You can remove a handset from a base to allow another handset
to be registered:

DE-
REGISTER
’ and press
key.
3. Enter the pin code
‘
0000
’ and press
key.
4. Enter the handset number (1-5) you want to remove and press
key. The unit will go back to Menu, the removal is done.
5. If not, it will ask again to enter the handset number.
