Be sure to turn the ignition switch
OFF when replacing the bulb.

Do not use bulbs other than that
specified.

After installing a new bulb, check
that the light operates properly.

[HEADLIGHT BULB] 

Before replacing the bulb, be sure to
check the switches for loose
connection of the connector.

Loosen the 7 special screws and
disconnect the headlight socket and
remove the front cover.

Pull off the headlight socket without
turning.

Remove the rubber cover.

Release the steel wire and remove the
headlight bulb.

HEADLIGHT BULB : 12V 60/55W

Install a new bulb in the reverse order
of removal.

[HEADLIGHT AIM]

Adjust the headlight aim by operating
the adjusting bolts located on the
headlight unit.

To make a vertical adjustment, turn the
screw in the side of left.

To make a horizontal adjustment, turn
the screw in the side of right.

BULB REPLACEMENT

CAUTION

The light bulb becomes very hot
while the light is ON, and remain
hot for a while after it is turned
OFF. Be sure to let it cool down
before servicing.

Do not put finger prints on the
headlight bulb, as they may create
hot spots on the bulb and cause it to
break. Wear clean gloves while
replacing the bulb.
If you touch the bulb with your
bare hands, clean it with a cloth
moistened with alcohol to prevent
its early failure.

CAUTION

Improper headlight aim may blind
on coming drivers, or may
incorrectly light the road ahead.
