7.2.3 Annual Inspection
1) Disassemble the gear box and check for abrasion/damage of gear parts. Replace them if necessary.
2) Check for abrasion/damage of ratchet, stopper (pawl), or brake lining. Replace them if necessary.
3) When the inspection is completed, assemble the hoist and fill the lubricating grease.
4) Check for any unusual noise, etc. by hoisting/descending the hoist about 40-50cm for 2-3 times
without any load suspended. Then try the same inspection again with a load suspended, and check for
any sliding and other problems. Use the hoist if everything is working properly.

There should not be any abrasion or bending.
Safety Latch
Safety Latch must be in place and it should move freely.

Hand chain must operate smoothly.
