3.6 DOPPIO MODULO
A differenza dei sistemi convenzionali, il modulo
MA è progettato in modo che una coppia di dif-
fusori può essere tranquillamente installata su di
uno stativo a tre piedi o su di un supporto a stelo.
Per la maggior parte delle applicazioni, è preferi-
bile utilizzare gli innesti anteriori con angolo di
5° e 15°. In questo modo si inclina il diffusore in-
feriore di un angolo di 5°/15° verso il basso, men-
tre il diffusore superiore si troverà a sonorizzare
prevalentemente le zone più distanti. L’altezza
da terra va regolata affinché non sia visibile né
la parte superiore, né quella inferiore del diffuso-
re. In questo modo gli ascoltatori si troveranno
all’interno dell’angolo di copertura. I preset con-
sigliati per queste configurazioni sono:
• FULL RANGE 1-3 UNIT - Riproduzione di tutte
le frequenze. Da utilizzare in situazioni in cui
non è richiesta una notevole presenza di bas-
se frequenze.
• CUT 1-3 UNIT - Da utilizzare in abbinamento
al subwoofers.
ATTENZIONE!
• Posizionare i diffusori sullo stand uno alla vol-
ta.
• Bloccare i due diffusori insieme usando l’ har-
dware integrato (fig.15).
• Non impilare più di due moduli MA su stativo.
3.6 DUAL MODULE
Unlike most conventional speakers, the MA is de-
signed so that a pair of speakers may be safely
mounted onto a pole or tripod stand.
For most applications, the forward socket of the
dual angle pole socket will be used (5° - 15°).
This will tilt the lower of the two speakers at a
5°/15° down-angle (providing coverage of the
near listeners) while the upper speaker will face
straight out (covering the more distant areas).
Ideally, the listeners should not be able to see
either the bottom or the top surfaces of the two-
speaker array.
This will insure that all listeners are within the “in-
cluded coverage angle” of the loudspeaker.
We recommend this preset
• FULL RANGE 1-3 UNIT - This control reproduc-
es a full range of frequencies. For use where
the low frequencies are not required.
• CUT 1-3 UNIT - For use in combination with
subwoofers.
WARNINGS!
• Place the speakers on the pole or tripod one
at a time.
• Be sure to lock the two speakers together us-
ing the integral rigging hardware (fig.15).
• Do not stack more than two MA speakers on
a pole.
