Maintenance

To prevent damage to the cooktop

•  Do not allow plastic, sugar, or foods with high sugar content to melt onto a hot 

cooktop. If this happens, clean immediately.

•  Do not let cookware boil dry as this will damage the cooktop and the cookware.
•  Do not use the cooktop as a work surface or cutting board.
•  Do not cook food directly on the cooktop. Always use proper cookware.

Cooktop sealing

To clean the sealing around the edges 
of the glass, put a wet cloth on it for a 
few minutes, and then wipe clean with a 
nonabrasive cleaner.
