Your d3 2u v1.0 machine ships with a single 512Gb OCZ Vector Solid State Drive (SSD) in drive bay 1.
Out of the four drive bays there are two fast SATA3 drive bays (bays 1 and 2) and two SATA2 drive bays
(bays 3 and 4).To ensure optimal performance always populate bay 1 and 2 first.
The OCZ Vector is capable of 461.9 MB/s sequential read and 462.9 MB/s sequential write.
Please note: If you ever need to replace or exchange your media drive it is recommend that you use a drive
with similar read/write speeds. For further information please contact d3 support.
WARNING: Do not remove drives
when the machine is on.
