VLAN Counter

Device Environment

VLAN Counter

This window is used to display and configure the VLAN counter settings. This is used to create a control entry for

traffic statistics on specified Layer 2 VLAN interface(s).

To view the following window, click

Monitoring > VLAN Counter

, as shown below:

The fields that can be configured for

VLAN Counter Settings

are described below:

Parameter

Description

Interface VLAN

Enter the VLAN ID that will be used here. The range is from 1 to 4094.

Unit

Select the Switch unit that will be used for this configuration here.

From Port - To Port

Select the range of ports that will be used for this configuration here. Select the

All

option to use all the ports in this configuration.

Frame Type

Select the frame type here. Options to choose from are:

•

Broadcast

- Specifies to count only broadcast frames.

•

Multicast

- Specifies to count only multicast frames.

•

Unicast

- Specifies to count only unicast frames.

•

Any

- Specifies to count all frames regardless of the frame type.

•

All

- Specifies to count all frames regardless of the frame type.

Traffic Direction

Select the traffic direction here. Options to choose from are:

•

- Specifies to count ingress traffic.

•

- Specifies to count egress traffic.

•

Both

- Specifies to count ingress and egress traffic.

Click the

Apply

button to accept the changes made.

Click the

Delete

button to delete the specified entry based on the information entered/selected.
