.LITERAL, .ENDLITERAL

Used to avoid code compression of the data defined between the

.LITERAL

and

.ENDLITERAL

directives. For the code compressor to function, all data defined in ROM with the

ASCIZ

DSU

, or

DWL

directives must use this directive. The

.LITERAL

directive must be followed by an

exported global label. The

.ENDLITERAL

directive resumes code compression.
