Power Supply System
The power supply system on this board is versatile, allowing the input supply to come from the
following sources:

5 V from the onboard USB Micro-B connectors (
J4
and
J8
)
■
5 V from external power supply through VIN header
J2.20
The power supply system is designed to support 1.8 V, 2.5 V or 3.3 V operation of the PSoC 64
device. 5 V provided from the USB port (
J8
) is used for the operation of KitProg3. USB bus voltages
are routed through an ORing circuit to allow powering the PSoC 64 chip from either USB port.
One linear regulator is used to achieve either 1.8 V, 2.5 V or 3.3 V to power the PSoC 64 chip and
shows the schematics of the voltage regulator and power selection circuits.
The voltage selection is made through jumper (
J3
).
