Introduction
The product is a simple Composite Video / S-Video to HDMI scaler box, it
accepts both PAL and NTSC video inputs and converts the signal to 720p high
definition output with vertical rates (50/60 Hz) selectable.
Main Features
1. Supports video upscaling from 480i/576i to HDTV 720p format.
2. Automatic lipsync (audio delay) ensures audio video synchronization.
3. Output vertical rate selectable on 50Hz or 60Hz, only works for PAL@50Hz input.
4. Audio is incorporated into HDMI out as well as passthrough to phone-jack
output.
5. Input video systems - NTSC3.58 / PAL / RGB 50Hz / RGB 60Hz auto-detection.
6. DVI compatible by using HDMI to DVI adaptor.
Operation Controls and Functions
Front Panel Rear Panel
1. Output Vertical Rate Switch: Use the switch to select between 50Hz or 60Hz
vertical rate output. The 50/60Hz switch only works when the input is PAL@50Hz.
When the input is NTSC, the output will always be 720p@60Hz.
2. Audio Output: Stereo L/R audio output in phone-jack.
3. HDMI Output: Connect HDMI output port to the HDMI input of an HDMI display.
4. Power Supply: Power Supply: Plug the 5VDC power supply into the unit and
connect the adaptor to AC wall outlet.
5. Audio Input: Stereo L/R audio input in phone-jack.
6. Composite Video Input: Connect the Composite Video input port to the Video
output port of your video source, such as DVD player.
7. Input Switcher: Use the switcher to select input source between Composite
Video and S-Video.
8. S-video Input: Connect the S-Video input port to the S-Video output port of
your video source, such as DVD player.
9. Input Indicator LED: The LED illuminates in green color when the Composite
Video is selected, in red when S-Video is selected.
10. Video output: Connect to display using video composite or S-Video cable.
