Configuring System Date and Time

When Enable is selected from the “Network Time Protocol” pull-down menu,
the “NTP server IP” field appears. An administrative user needs to specify the
IP address of an NTP server in the NTP server field, as shown in Figure 5-33.

When Disable is selected from the Network Time Protocol menu, Date and
Time configuration fields appear, as shown in Figure 5-31, for an
administrative user to enter the date and time manually.

To Configure System Date and Time

1.

Select a timezone from the “Timezone” pull-down menu.

2.

To enable the OnBoard to get its time from an NTP server, do the
following steps.

a.

Select “Enable” from the Network Time Protocol pull-down menu.

b.

Enter the IP address of the NTP server in the “NTP server IP” field.

3.

To manually define the date and time, do the following steps.

a.

Enter the month, day, and year in the “Month,” “Day,” and “Year”
fields.
