CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS 

 

4.2.14 SET HANDSHAKE TYPE (1B 48 x)

 

   If this sequence is received the handshake can be changed. If 
a "0" is received the unit is set to Hardware handshake, if a "1" 
is received the unit is set to Software handshake. This is a semi 
permanent stored byte internal to the microprocessor's EEprom. 
 

4.2.15 SET BAUD RATE (1B 52 x)

 

   WARNING - THIS WILL CHANGE THE UNITS OPERATING BAUD RATE SEMI-
PERMANENTLY (POWER ON/OFF WILL NOT AFFECT THIS). When this 
sequence is received the units operating baud rate will be 
changed. x should be 0 through 6 and corresponds to 300 through 
19200– see chart below.  This is a semi-permanent stored byte 
internal to the microprocessor's EEprom. The default baud rate is 
9600, when shipped from the factory (unless otherwise requested).
