REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
REPEAT 1/ALL
Used with DVD discs, 1/ALL repeats a
chapter, title or disc.
REPEAT A-B
Sets the beginning and ending of a time
segment to repeat.
EJECT
Ejects disc from DVD player.
MUTE
Toggle switch to turn audio on or off.
JUMP
Used to switch back and forth between
last two TV channels previously seen.
VOLUME
Increases or decreases audio volume.
TITLE
Accesses Menus on DVD Discs.
PLAY / PAUSE
Plays a disc, chapter or track. Selects
options in menus. While playing disc,
press again to pause audio track or video
on a still frame. Press again to resume
play.
STOP
Press once to stop current disc play but
holds resume location. Press again to
completely stop play - also required for
some setup functions.
SKIP NEXT
Press to skip to the next chapter or track.
SLOW
While on pause, press to advance in slow
speed.
ANGLE
Selects between the multiple angle views
on supported DVD's.
BOOKMARK
Press to store the current point on the disc
as a bookmark that can be accessed
quickly without searching.
PROGRAM
Create a custom play list of selected
tracks and sequence.
RETURN
Returns to the previous menu accessed.
POWER
Turns the unit ON or to STANDBY.
INPUT SELECT
Press to select video source.
SAP
SAP (Secondary Audio Program) selection
EQ
Selects audio equalization mode.
ASPECT
Selects between wide or normal viewing
modes.
DISP
Brings up the on-screen display showing
information for the playback session.
ARROWS
Use to navigate disc menus, on-screen setup
menu, etc.
ENTER
Selects options in menus.
CHANNEL UP/DOWN
Press to change TV channel up (CH+) or
down (CH-).
MENU
Accesses the system setup menu.
NUMERIC KEYPAD
Used to enter numeric values while setting
presets, using GOTO and more.
SETUP
Accesses the DVD player’s on-screen
setup menu for settings adjustment.
FAST REVERSE
Scan in fast reverse on DVD's and other
discs.
FAST FORWARD
Scan in fast forward on DVD's and other
discs.
SKIP PREVIOUS
Press to skip to the previous chapter or
track.
MENU / PBC
Accesses the root menu on DVD Discs.
With VCD discs, turns the PBC function
On/Off.
GOTO
Press to navigate to a specific chapter.
Follow with corresponding number key.
SUBTITLE
Selects available subtitles on DVD.
AUDIO
Selects audio tracks on DVD discs.
ZOOM
Press to magnify and shrink the screen
with DVD discs.
