Operating Instructions

Switching On Your Freezer

1.  Adjust the thermostat control dial to the desired position,

MAX position makes the appliance colder and is used for
fast freezing (see fast freezing section). The recommended
position is between MID but should be adjusted
according to its environment. The appliance may not
operate correctly if it is in a particularly hot or cold room
or if the lid is opened often or for prolonged periods.

2.  The freezer may not operate at the correct temperature if

it is in a particularly hot or a particularly cold room, or if
you open the freezer door often.

3.  To ensure that the freezer is cool enough to sufficiently

chill your food wait 24 hours before filling it with food.

4.  If you are concerned that your freezer is not being kept

cold enough and wish to check the temperature you will
need a special freezer thermometer. These are available
from most supermarkets and hardware shops.
Place the thermometer in the freezer, where it can be read
easily. Leave overnight, the temperature in the freezer
should be between -18°C or lower.

Adjusting the Temperature

The internal temperature of your freezer is controlled by a thermostat. The recommended position
is between MIN for colder working environments (i.e. during winter) and between MAX for hotter
environments. Please adjusted according to the environment.

Fast Freezing

Fresh food should be frozen as quickly as possible. Press FAST FREEZING button makes your freezer
operate the coldest (approximately -28°C ) continuously. The FAST FREEZING indicator will illuminate. It
helps to quickly freeze and retain more of the goodness of your food. Freezing will be completed after 24
hours. Press the button again to cancel fast freezing function. The fast freezing light should be off.

Freezer Warning

If the freezer temperature is equal to or warmer than -10°C, this over-temperature warning indicator will
illuminate.
