3. Direct Drive Box Fans Assembly Instructions

Rough in Opening

These are the exact sizes, including the protruding screw heads, for the openings for the fans. They do 
not include any extra clearance for installation. Any extra clearance should be added as desired to these 
numbers for frame size opening. Weights given are the maximum weight prior to shutter installation.

36" Motor and Motor Mount/Upright Assembly Instructions

Use four (4) #10-32 star lock nuts and eight (8) 3/16" back up washers (four (4) on each side of the upright) 
to secure motor to uprights. 

(See Figure 3A.)
