Flex-Flo Control Unit with Auto Calibration
9
When the bottom light is red, it indicates that the toggle switch is ON and the safety backup switch has
been activated. In this state, the Flex-Flo auger will not run.
When the top light is yellow, it indicates that a manual calibration must be performed.

Manual ON Button
The grey button located under the toggle switch is the Manual ON Button. When the button is pressed, the
auger will turn ON manually and disable the sensor that has turned OFF the auger.
If the Manual ON button is pressed, the yellow light will begin to flash. Release the button and press again
and the auger will turn ON. (This is to prevent the case of a button failure and keeping the auger running.)
If the button is held down for 5 seconds, the flashing will stop (the yellow LED will go OFF) and a manual
calibration will automatically be performed.
Safety Backup Switch Time Delay
The Flex-Flo Control Unit safety backup switch has a fixed 30 second time delay. Once feed falls away
from the safety backup switch, the Flex-Flo Control Unit will begin to count down until the 30 second has
expired. At that time, the Flex-Flo auger will be allowed to run as long as the auxiliary switch is calling for
feed. The green LED under the toggle switch on the right hand side of the enclosure will flash during the
30 second time delay period. Once the 30 second time delay period has expired, the green LED will remain
on solid and the Flex-Flo auger will be allowed to run.
