4. Enter the load, type of curve, and name of the curve.
5. Complete the grid with the desired values according to the type of curve.
Adding an existing curve
1. To add an existing curve, press on the icon.
2. Select the curve name from the drop down list, and then press on the Add button.
Duplicating a curve
1. Press on the button.
2. Select the curve you want to duplicate from the drop down list.
3. Enter the name of the new curve, and then press on the button again.
NOTE: Factory default curves can not be modified, and the columns are greyed out. If you want to
modify them, you need to duplicate them first.
Deleting a curve
1. Press on the icon when on the page of the curve you want to delete.
2. Press in the Delete permanently box to permanently delete the curve.
A popup message is displayed, prompting you to confirm you want to permanently delete the curve.
3. If you do not press in the Delete permanently box, the curve will simply disappear from view.
NOTE: You can not delete a curve that is used by a house/barn or by an equipment. You will get an
error message if this is the case.
NOTE: You can not edit a curve that is used in a house/barn or by an equipment. You must first
duplicate the curve, and then make the changes to assign it to an equipment or house/barn.
How it works: Light schedules and programs
A light schedule is composed of either one or many 24 hour light cycles. All cycles can start at anytime,
meaning they can cross midnight. For example, a light cycle can run from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am without
interruption at midnight.
Alight program is composed of light schedules. When making a light program, the animal age must be
considered to choose the light schedules composing the program. Switching from schedule A to schedule
B always happens at midnight. When the program switches between two schedules with different light
intensities at the same hour, the transition is smooth while ramping down the intensity of the ending
schedule to the intensity of the beginning schedule.
