Alarm and trouble logs
The alarm and trouble log is accessed by pressing either the alarm or trouble icon in the main title bar.
The log keeps record of events of the past 180 days. It only displays the 50 last entries, or all active, not
recovered and not acknowledged entries if there are more than 50.
When an alarm or trouble event occurs, the system creates an entry in the log and records the following:
• Alarm or trouble name
• House/barn in which the event occurred
• Time and date at which the event occurred
• Threshold value that is out of range
Once the event is acknowledged, the following is recorded in the log:
• Time and date of acknowledgement
• Name of the user who acknowledged
When the event has recovered (trouble or alarm conditions are no longer present), the following is
recorded in the log
• Time and date of event recovery
All events must be acknowledged; even if it has recovered. Water meter and auger alarms can’t recover
on their own. They are considered recovered when they are acknowledged.
The following are the four states of events you can find in the log:
• New event that hasn't been acknowledged
• Event that has been acknowledged and for which the event conditions are still present
• Event that has recovered, but hasn’t been acknowledged
• Event is acknowledged and recovered
The four states have different aspects in the log so you can easily differentiate them.
