Installing the Curtain
A RollSeal
®
curtain has three panels which are sewn together: a back panel (103), a center panel (104),
and a front panel (102). The curtain has hook and loop strips (99) attached to the edges. These hook and
loop strips (99) interlock with the hook and loop strips (99) laminated on the track units, drive pipe (50),
and top bar (41). The curtain is held taut by two cylindrical weights that fit into the folds of the curtain. This
design creates a seal when the curtain is lowered and enables the unit to be raised by a single drive.
1. Each curtain is shipped in a roll. Lay the curtain roll on the ground in front of each opening so that
the curtain unrolls away from the system.
2. Unroll the curtain slowly. (This works best if two workers pull the corners of the curtain.) Note that
the curtain has three ends with hook and loop strips (99) attached.
3. Identify the panels based on the hook and loop strips (99).

This panel has 1" wide strips (99) on the top and no strips (99) running
down the sides. This panel attaches to the drive pipe (50).
c.

This panel has 1" wide strips (99) on the top and 2" wide strips (99) running
down on each side. This panel attaches to the top bar plate.
