INSTRUCTION MANUAL
IMPORTANT:
Read these instructions before using for the first time.
1.
The steamTANK has been designed to direct the steam generated by cooking in
Thermomix away from the kitchen cabinets to protect them from moisture.
2.
This accessory is used when preparing food requiring the cooking function at
temperatures above 90° C and at low engine speed (levels between 1-4).
3.
Special care should be taken when using Thermiomix and the steamTANK as the
accessory heats up during operation and discharges steam through the outlet
channel.
4.
By observing these instructions you will reduce the risk of burning yourself or
causing other damage.
5.
When using the steamTANK it is possible for some steam to escape between the
accessory and the hole in the lid of the pot.

Before using for the first time, wash in the dishwasher or under running water and then dry.
7.
The steamTANK is only intended for use with the Thermomix mixing bowl lid. To install the ac-
cessory, place the drained steamTANK on the lid of the mixing bowl in place of the measuring
cup. Ensure that the steamTANK is fitted correctly and fits tightly before starting the machine.
When using the accessory, monitor its operation and do not leave it unattended.

When using the steamTANK, do not cover the outlet or introduce any objects, liquids or other
substances.
9.
During cooking, excess steam escaping from the steamTANK may condense and fall onto the
worktop. This is a natural occurrence when cooking food. The temperature of the condensa-
tion and the products or spices contained within (e.g. tomato sauce, red onion, red wine, curry,
etc.) may cause discolouration of the worktop or damage to its structure. To minimise this risk,
it is advisable to use any kitchen container placed directly under the end of the steamTANK
outlet channel. It is recommended that when the accessory is placed on the lid of the mixing
container, the opening of the outlet channel of the accessory should be outside the area of
kitchen furniture suspended above the worktop.
10.
Do not point the outlet towards your body, eyes, face or towards walls, electrical outlets and
other electronic equipment.
11.
Do not use the steamTANK if there are visible cracks or other deformations on its surface. Any
damage to the accessory will preclude its further use.
