CLI & Web Basic Operation
ICR-W401 are 4G-LTE cellular routers with WiFi function for
industrial uses. Initial assignment of IP address may be accomplished via
Command Line Interface (CLI). Once the desired IP address has been
configured, a web browser can be used to configure the device through
a more easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI).
To use CLI, you need to prepare a RS232/DB9 console cable. First,
connect one end of the RS-232 cable correctly to the terminal block (TXD,
RXD, GND pins for RS232) and the other end to PC COM port for RS-232
signal input. If your PC does not have a RS-232 signal input interface, a
USB converter is needed. Then, apply power to the router. Configure the
terminal emulation software (such as PUTTY) as follows:
115200 speed, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control
At the "Username:" prompt, enter '
admin
' (lower case, no quotes).
Just
press Enter when prompted for password
.
To set the desired IP address and subnet mask (For Example: sets
IP to 192.168.0.5, subnet to 255.255.255.0), issue the following
commands:
ICR-W401# lan
ICR-W401/ lan#ipv4
ICR-W401/ lan/ipv4#ip
ICR-W401/ lan/ipv4/ip#addr 192.168.0.5
ICR-W401/ lan/ipv4/ip#mask 255.255.255.0
ICR-W401/ lan/ipv4/ip#apply
Then, press Enter.
Once the desired IP address has been configured, you can login
the device via web browser using the configured IP address. For
complete operation of the device via Web GUI, please refer to the
manual.
NOTE: The factory default IP address is 10.1.1.1 with mask
255.255.255.0
