1. Sicherheitsmaßnahmen
ACHTUNG:
Vor der Montage ist die Batterie
am Fahrzeug abzuklemmen, um
Kurzschlüsse bei der Montage zu
vermeiden.
2. Anschlüsse
B+ (Batterie Plus)
Ladeleitung für die Batterie. Es ist ein aus-
reichender Querschnitt für diese Leitung
zu wählen.
D+ (Dynamo Plus)
Leitung zur Ladekontrollleuchte im Armatu-
renbrett. Diese Leitung muss immer mit
angeschlossen werden, da die Lichtma-
schine sonst nicht lädt.
Masse
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gehäuse der
Lichtmaschine über ausreichend Mas-
se verfügt. Normalerweise erfolgt dies
durch die Aufl agefl äche am Motor.
W
Drehzahlmesser. Dieser Anschluss ist für
einen Drehzahlmesser vorgesehen und
wird nicht verwendet.

CAUTION:
Detach the battery before your start
the installation. In order to avoid any
electrical short cuts while doing the
wiring.
2. Connections
B+ (battery plus)
Main wire for charging the battery. Make
sure you use an appropriate wire size as
the current is very high.
D+ (dynamo plus)
Charge indicator lamp wire. Run this wire
to the charging indicator lamp on the
instrument panel (dashboard). This wire
is essential to charge the alternator.
Ground
Make sure that the fan assembly is well
grounded. This is usually given by its
contact to the engine
.
W
RPM signal. This signal can be used on
Diesel engines to attach a Tachometer.
Obviously it is not used on our applica-
tions.
