4 Driver Installati on
lf you are using a current operati ng system (Microsoft Windows 7 or higher) the
driver installati on will be done automati cally. Then the PCle card is ready for use
aft er a few minutes.
lf you want to use the PCle card with the operati ng system Win dows XP, please
download the latest driver from our website. For this, just go to the service area
of our offi cial website www.csl-computer.com. Under the menu item “manuals
and driver downloads” you will fi nd the desired driver for our products.
5 Safety instructi ons and liability disclaimer
Please do not att empt to perform repairs or conversions of the plug-in card. Avoid
contact with the power grid. The product is only voltage-free once it has been
unplugged. Always ensure that you are grounded before you tauch electronic
components. This will prevent damage caused by electrostati c discharge from
your body.
Electrostati c discharge (ESD) can cause irreparable damage to your plug-in card
and all the connected hardware components! The installati on of the plug-in card
is performed at your own risk. Please have the installati on of the card performed
by a specialised company if you do not have any technical and practi cal
experience in the fi eld of computer and electrical technology. The manufacturer
cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by improper
installati on or use. lt is the customer’s responsibility to back up any data. The
