4. Initial start-up
Take the HDMI switcher out of its packaging and turn off all devices which you
want to connect.
To activate the 2x1 mode, connect both players using suitable HDMI cables. Plug
the cables into the side which has two HDMI sockets. Then connect your display
unit to the HDMI socket on the other side of the switcher using a further HDMI
cable. The unit is now ready to use.
The switch on the top of the product selects the signal which is to be passed to
the display unit.
If you wish to use 1x2 mode, plug the HDMI cables from your display units into
the side of the switcher with two connection sockets. Connect the cable from the
player to the socket on the opposite side. The switcher is now ready to use.
The switch on the top of the product selects the reception device to which the
signal is to be sent.
Note: For a resolution of 2160p (4K), please use HDMI cables with a maximum
length of 5m; this applies to the sum of the lengths of both cables connected.
(length of cable 1 + length of cable 2 = 5m) Otherwise there may be a drop in
quality or loss of signal.
2x1 mode
• Connection of two HDMI players to one reception device such
as a TV or monitor only one of the two signals can be sent
• to the reception device
1x2 mode
• Connection of one HDMI player to two reception devices such
as TVs or monitors
• the signal can only be sent to one of the two reception devices
