b. Two Channel (Stereo) Operation
For this application the PULSE 4x300 is used with channels 1+2 and 3+4 in bridge mode, achieved by
operating the rear panel switches and confirmed by the front panel bridge lights. When operated in this
way, each bridged pair can deliver over 600W into 4 ohms. Note that in bridge mode, 2 ohm operation is
not permitted, 4 ohms is the minimum permissible load. If less than 4 ohms is detected, the amplifier may
repeatedly mute at 4 second intervals. See

of this manual for more information about how to
calculate impedance.

a. Four Channel Sound Reinforcement
In this example, each channel of the PULSE 4x300 is being used independently to control the sound level in
all four corners of a venue. For this application, ensure that both rear panel BRIDGE switches are in the
NORMAL position. More than one speaker may be used on each channel as long as the total impedance is
not less that 2 ohms. See
