Installing the Hardware Unit
IMPORTANT NOTES
If the GSM unit is being installed as a backup module, it should
NOT be installed too close to the panel.
It is recommended to configure the unit at the lab before
installing it at the customer’s premises.
To install the hardware unit containing the CS-47 GSM link:

for

the
ȱ
unit
ȱ
within
ȱ

the
ȱ
Runner.

Using
ȱ
the
ȱ
paper
ȱ
template
ȱ
drill
ȱ

ȱ
holes
ȱ
in
ȱ
the
ȱ
wall
ȱ
to
ȱ
mount
ȱ
the
ȱ
unit.
ȱ

Using
ȱ
four
ȱ
screws
ȱ
and
ȱ
rawl
Ȭ
plugs
ȱ
(wall
ȱ
plugs),
ȱ
fix
ȱ
the
ȱ
unit
ȱ
to
ȱ
the
ȱ
wall
ȱ
or
ȱ
any
ȱ
other
ȱ
firm
ȱ
flat
ȱ
surface.

Power

OFF

the

Runner

and
ȱ
disconnect
ȱ
the

backup
ȱ
battery.

Connect

the

unit

the
ȱ
Runner
ȱ
bus.
ȱ
ȱ
The

bus
ȱ
consists
ȱ
of
ȱ
four
ȱ
wires:

(+12V)

Neg
ȱ

and
ȱ

battery.
