Ethernet Setup
Ethernet devices that are addressed by the control system may have their IP IDs set
either in the SIMPL Windows program or through the Crestron Viewport using a
PC. Ultimately, each IP ID is converted into an actual IP address through an IP table
that exists inside the control system. The IP table is an internal list of information
that contains the IP IDs and associated IP addresses of all Ethernet devices in the
program. The IP table is accessed by the control system to identify and locate
Ethernet devices, for purposes of communication. Follow this procedure to add the
Touch The PC Driver, V2 software to the IP table of the touchpanel.
1. Using the Crestron Viewport, (

2. As shown on the next page, use the
ipt
(IPTABLE) command to
display the current IP table for the CIP interface on the touchpanel.
