Very low sound volume
a. Raise gain sensitivity at the amplifier
b. Check crossover adjustment at Digital
Signal Processor

Hissing sound
a. Check and make sure RCA terminal does
not connect directly to vehicle or amplifer
casing
b. Check negative wire connection to chassis
ground for both amplifier and sound source

Sound is distorted
a. Make sure gain sensitivity control of the
amplifier is aligned with the output level of
the sound source. Too high gain sensitivity
adjustment will distort the sound output.
CAUTION: Do not set the amplifier’s gain
sensitivity higher than permitted
b. Check and make sure there is no short
circuit between the speaker cable and the
chassis ground

Amplifier overheating
(above 70
o
C)
a. Make sure the loudspeaker impedance
is not below the minimum load of the
amplifier (4 Ohm mono or 2 Ohm stereo)
for CRESCENDO REVOLUTION 5A4
b. Make sure the amplifer is properly
ventilated. Add cooling fan if needed.
c. Check and make sure there is no short
circuit between the speaker cable and the
chassis ground
