Chapter 2 – Operation

Starting the Trendsetter 3244+ AL

Warmup Time

The Trendsetter system can take up to five minutes to warm up after it is
turned on. You cannot image media while the output device is warming
up. Files submitted to be imaged wait in the workstation until the output
device is ready.

To start the Trendsetter system:

Turn on the output device.

The power switch is located on the rear of the output device, at the
bottom-left corner. Figure 6 illustrates.

Turn on the computer workstation.

For details on turning the workstation on, see your workstation
documentation.

Start the workstation software.

For details on starting the workstation software, see your workstation
software documentation.

When the output device is ready, the Load light on the operator
interface will flash.
