Cleaning / Maintenance / Descaling
Regular cleaning (at least every two months) means better coffee and makes
your appliance last longer.
Scaling is not covered by the guarantee.
Use special descaler
(never use vinegar) following the mixing instructions on
the label.
Remove all capsules from the machine before descaling.
Important: The descaling programme may not be interrupted
and lasts
about 30 minutes (if switched off, the process starts anew).
Important!
At least every 2 months: descale (previous version)
After 300 coffee servings or 200
milk drinks the cleaning key flash-
es red
during output .
Imme-
diately descale the machine!
Mix special descaler with water
and fill the tank (at least 0.75 l; fol-
low the mixing instructions on the
label). Never use vinegar, which
will damage the machine!
Remove all capsules from the ma-
chine. Insert the empty milk tank.
Place a large bowl
(min. 1.6 l) under
the nozzle
(lights up): Rinse the water
tank , fill with water, and insert . Emp-
ty the bowl and replace under the noz-
zles. Press to rinse. Key flashes
blue.
Next step in 4 minutes
Press for 6 seconds ; key
flashes blue. Descaling starts .
Descaler liquid is pumped through the
machine at intervals. The next step
comes in 30 minutes
(lights up): Fill and insert
water tank . Press to suck in
water. The operating keys go white.
Now the machine is ready for use
