WARNING!
To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious
personal injury,always remove the battery pack from the
product when assembling parts.
Adjusting depth of cut
(see
Figure 2
)
WARNING!
Avoid contact with the blade. Failure to avoid contact can
result in serious personal injury.

Remove the battery pack.

Loosen the depth adjustment knob to increase or decrease the depth.

Adjust the depth so that the blade barely touches the ground when the
machine is held in a normal operating posture.

Tighten the depth adjustment knob.

Standing in a normal working position, check the depth of cut again and
correct if necessary.
Replacing the blade
(see
Figure 3
)
NOTE:
If the blade worn out, replace it with a new one (not provided) produced
by Greenworks.

Remove the battery pack.

Insert a metal rod (1) through the positioning hole to fix the blade.

Remove the screw (2) clockwise with the wrench provided.

Remove the washer (3).

Remove the old blade and replace it with a new one.

Place the washer (3) on the blade.

Place the screw on the washer and tighten it unclockwise with the wrench
provided.
Installing the attachments to the split shaft coupling
(see
Figure 4

Remove the rubber protector.

Loosen the knob on the coupler.

Push in the release button located on the lower shaft. Align the release
button with the positioning hole and slide the two shafts together. Rotate
the lower shaft until the button locks into the positioning hole.

Tighten the knob securely.
NOTE: If the button does not release completely in the positioning hole, the
shafts are not locked into place. Slightly rotate from side to side until the button is
locked into place.

Do not allow familiarity with products to make you careless.
Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to
inflict serious injury.

objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious
injury.
