2. ASSEMBLY OF THE GRASS CATCHER OR THE SIDE-
DISCHARGE COVER (See Fig. C-G4)
There are two optional ways for grass discharging:
using the grass catcher or the side-discharge cover.
WARNING! Before you carry out any repairs
or servicing work on the mower, you must
ensure that the blade is not turning and that the
mower has been disconnected from the mains
supply.
The lawnmower shall not be operated without either
the entire grass collection catcher or the side-
discharge.
2.1 USING THE GRASS CATCHER
2.1.1 Removing the Mulch Insert (See Fig. C)
NOTE: Before using the grass catcher, you need to
remove the mulch insert first.
1) STOP THE ENGINE, AND WAIT FOR BLADE TO COME TO
A COMPLETE STOP.
2) Raise the safety guard and hold it up.
3) Grasp the middle of the Mulch Insert, lift and pull
out the Mulch Insert completely.
4) The safety guard is spring loaded. When you release it,
the guard will return to the closed position.

1) Assemble the handle of the catcher according to
the process shown in Fig. D1,D2.
2) Assemble the two halves of grass catcher (19).
Snap together the top and bottom grass catcher
halves by pushing all the “snap fits” together
around the edges, start from the rear and work
towards the front as shown in Fig.D3,D4. Check
that all the “snap fits” engaged tightly.
