Usage:
When using this weather station outside, place unit in shaded area away from direct
sunlight for most accurate reading of gauges, as direct sunlight may cause some
deviation in gauge readings.
Troubleshooting (Adjusting Gauges):
The various gauges contained in this product are calibrated to reflect the current
atmospheric conditions present during the time of this product’s assembly. Vibration
during the transportation of this product may alter the preset readings and accuracy
of each gauge. To ensure the proper reading of each gauge, it is suggested that each
unit be checked for accuracy before use. For accurate atmospheric measurements
refer to a reliable source such as the newspaper, television, radio, and/or the internet.
If adjustment is necessary, please follow the below instructions for each gauge:
1)
Clock adjustment:
a) Insert key into adjustment hole, located on the bottom side of fixture housing
labeled “Clock”
b) To adjust the time reading, softly push key inwards and turn to adjust needle on
the units face.
2)
Barometer gauge adjustment:
a) Insert key into adjustment hole on bottom side of housing marked “Baro”.
b) To adjust the Barometer reading, softly turn key to adjust needle on the units
face.
Note:
Barometer gauge is very sensitive and is set to allow only 1/4 turn, either to the
left or the right.
3) Humidity gauge adjustment:
a) Insert key into adjust hole on
bottom side of housing marked
“Humid” and turn needle to
adjust needle on units face
Note: Unlike with temperature
and barometer gauge, DO NOT
push in key when turning key
to adjust humidity gauge.
b) It is suggested that adjusting
humidity gauge be done every
six months.
4) Temperature gauge adjustment:
a) Insert key into adjustment
hole, located on the bottom
side of fixture housing labeled
“Temp”
b) To adjust the Temperature
reading, softly push key in-
wards and turn to adjust needle
on the units face.
Note: Temperature gauge accuracy
is +/- 2 degrees Celsius or +/-3
degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity
gauge accuracy is +/- 5%.
