Concrete Polishing Solutions- G-290 Operator’s Manual
UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONTROLS
The control box is mounted on top of the G-290
on top of the control plate.
Please note that some of the controls are strictly for programming the machine
and are not part of the every-day function of the machine. Please contact the
CPS Customer Service Department if you have any questions regarding the
programming of your grinder/polisher.
1. RUN - Use this button to turn the main electric
motor on to begin function.
2. STOP/RESET - Use the top part of this button, labeled “STOP”
to initiate the shut-down sequence, bringing the head
assembly to a gradual stop and shutting off all power
to the G-290 . The bottom part of the button labeled
“RESET” may be used to reactivate the initial start-up sequence. This button is
primarily used after the Emergency Stop button has been pressed.
3. FORWARD/REVERSE - Pressing this button determines
the direction of the head and controls direction of the machine.
Pressing”FWD” rotates the head in a clockwise direction and
moves the G-290 in a forward directions, while “REV” rotates
counter-clockwise, moving the G-290 in th reverse direction.
4. Display Screen - This sc reen is used to display system status and
error codes.
IMPORTANT! This button is only to be used in the event of emergency
and should not be used routinely to top the machine.
5. Emergency Stop- In the event of an emergency, this
button will immediately shut down the machine, skipping
the gradual slowing process and cutting all power to
the motor and plates at once.
6. Speed Potentiometer - This is a variable speed, rotating selection with
parameters from 1-10, depending on how slow or fast you want the
machine to operate.
