Guide to Firmware Upgrade

When ﬁ rmware upgrade program ﬁ nds iAUDIO, the following screen appears.

If you check [Format Data Area] option, all the data stored in the ﬂ ash memory is deleted. Therefore, be sure
to back up important ﬁ les in iAUDIO before upgrading.
Furthermore, NEVER remove the USB cable during ﬁ rmware upgrade, since it may cause malfunctions.
After upgrading ﬁ rmware, make sure that the status has changed to READY on the iAUDIO LCD window
before disconnecting USB cable. We recommend to run "Safely Remove Hardware" wizard before
disconnecting the cable.
