Solution
The softened water
does not feel soft.
• Is the switching valve in the
‘Tap Water’ position?
Turn the switching valve to the ‘Soft
Water’ position.
• Have you been using
softened water excessively?
Excessive use of softened water can
drastically lower the water softening
efficiency. Please regenerate before
continuing.
• Does the soap feel very
slippery even when using it
with normal tap water?
Certain soaps, depending on the
ingredients, can prevent softened
water from actually feeling soft to the
touch. Try using a different soap.
The amount of
extracted water has
been reduced after
installing the product.
• Has the water been shut
off? Is construction on the
waterworks going on?
Restore the water supply.
• Are any of the connections
leaking?
Close the water supply valve and
contact a service center immmediately.
• Is your area a low-water
pressure zone?
With the product installed, tap water
passes through the main unit’s ion
exchange resin and hybrid filter and
incurs a slight pressure loss. If the
product is being used in a low-water
pressure zone, the drop in pressure
might feel more evident. This is not
a product malfunction or a cause for
concern.
• Has the water volume been
drastically lowered or shut
off completely?
A clogged hybrid filter will substantially
lower the amount of water passing
through. Replace the filter. If the
problem persists, close the water supply
valve and contact the service center.
There’s white powder
around the product and
the shower hose after
the completion of a
regeneration cycle.
• Has the regeneration
solution leaked out of the
product?
The regeneration solution turns to
powder when dried. Simply rinse it off
using water.
