Installation instructions:
1. Prepare the device-‐ (CAUTION: In order to prevent damage to the SIM card,
please insert the SIM before powering on the device.)
•
Remove SIM card from its sleeve. If it has multiple sizes, remove the largest
one (Mini).
•
Unscrew the top cover from GPS tracker.
•
Open the top cover sliding it down the power wires. Insert SIM carefully
into the tracker. Make sure it is fully locked into place. It should make a
click when fully seated.
•
Replace the top cover and screw it back together. Don’t over torque the
bolts.
2. Find a secure location to mount the GPS tracker-‐
•
Choose a secure location in the vehicle – either in the trunk or interior of a
vehicle. A common location is under the dashboard, this is both hard to
easily find and is good for GPS positioning.
•
Choose a location that is not next to electrical wires for the radio, alarm
systems or other RF devices. These devices can interfere with GPS location
data.
3. Connect the wires according to the installation sheet provided with the device.
4. Wait 5-‐10 minute for the unit to find the GSM and GPS signal for the first time.
Moving to an open area will decrease the time required to get a signal.

•
Change user password
•
Set local time zone
•
Test location
